To catch up on the latest developments with Aviation Adventures Limited and our Red Cat Biplane Flights operation, this is the place to come!

10 March 2017

The last two months have gone by quickly! February was by far our busiest month since we started operations back in 2009. After a windy January, we were blessed with settled weather, which has continued through into March.

Last month was our best November yet. With two record spring months in a row, the summer months hold plenty of promise. Red Cat Biplane Flights are now TripAdvisor's No.1 outdoor activity to do in Twizel!

19 November 2016

Today was the busiest we have had since starting operations seven years ago! In total, we flew 18 passengers in two Cessna flights to Mt Cook and six local flights in the Ag-Cat. Jarrod Bayliss helped out to create a new company record.

12 November 2016

We have had a great start to November and have been busy when the weather has not been raining. Over the last week we did four consecutive flights to Aoraki Mt Cook National Park and the glaciers - a company first.

26 October 2016

October has been our most successful yet with a steady number of flights despite frequent rain. The new Cessna 172N arrived on Sunday which will alllow us to do cheaper scenic flights to the glaciers. 29 September 2016

The new season started on the 10 September. Voucher sales have been steady (lots of September babies!) and we have been hard at work on our latest development (to be revealed late next month!). Chris has continued to work on the Pukaki Airport section and another big area has been developed into lawn with soil spread and seed sown.

24 August 2016

The 2016/17 flying season kicks off next month and we are looking forward to the warmer weather. Tarn and Chris recently had the privilege of flying in Stu and Roni MacPherson's 1927 Travelair biplane from Orcas Island, Washington, USA. What a treat!

The 2015 to 2016 season has been our best yet with some record months and lots of happy customers. Thank you to everyone who made it such as great success!
